Everything organisations and individuals usually ask before working with Brett. If your question isn’t here, a 15-minute discovery call will sort it — no pressure, no expectations.
What is leadership training, and what does Brett’s involve?
Leadership training develops how leaders think, communicate and behave — especially under pressure. Brett’s programs work on three capabilities together: leadership effectiveness (IEQ), resilience (RQ) and culture (CQ). Expect practical sessions built around your team’s real situations, not generic theory. See
leadership training in Perth or the
ELEVATum™ system.
What are the benefits of leadership training?
Done properly: faster and clearer decisions, difficult conversations that actually happen, lower turnover, stronger accountability, and a culture that holds together in hard weeks instead of drifting. It also helps meet psychosocial safety duties now embedded in Australian WHS law — leadership behaviour is one of the biggest controllable factors in workplace mental health.
Where does Brett deliver training and speaking?
Brett is based in Mandurah and works across Perth, the Peel region, regional WA and Australia-wide — on site, in camp, at your office or at your conference venue. Online delivery is available for distributed teams.
What does a keynote cost?
It depends on the event, format, travel and preparation involved — a school talk and a national conference keynote are different jobs. Pricing is confirmed up front after a short briefing call, with no surprises.

How long are the programs and workshops?
Keynotes run 30–90 minutes. Workshops run from a half day to multi-day intensives. The ELEVATum™ leadership system is an ongoing program, because behaviour change that sticks takes repetition, not a one-off event. moMENtum™ runs as an immersive 2.5-day experience for men.
Is this therapy or clinical mental health treatment?
No. Brett is a coach, trainer and speaker with lived experience — not a clinician, and his work doesn’t replace professional mental health care. If you or someone you know needs support now, call 000 in an emergency, Lifeline on 13 11 14, or Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636. More options are on the
crisis support page.
Who runs WOMENtum™?
WOMENtum™ is led by Kim Dellar. It gives women the same honest, supported space to reconnect and rebuild that moMENtum™ gives men. Details are on the
WOMENtum™ page.
Will blokey or sceptical teams actually engage?
That’s Brett’s home ground. Nine years as a WA Police detective, a trade-friendly delivery style and zero corporate polish mean the toughest rooms — trades, FIFO crews, first responders — tend to be where he lands hardest. See
trades & construction and
mining & FIFO.
How do we get started?

Does Brett do pro-bono or community sessions?
Community matters to Brett — he works regularly with schools and local organisations across the Peel region. Capacity is limited, but it never hurts to ask on a
discovery call.
